Colt No.3 derringer factory nickel plated with ivory grips and purse holster remaining in near fine original condition, serial number 3584. The derringer shows approximately 90% to 95% bright original nickel with just some minor beginning losses and some slight erosion and pinprick pitting where the finish is lost. The breach where it meets the frame shows a couple of marks from incorrect closing. The grips are very good with some slight yellowing and minor age cracking. The hammer, small parts and screws show considerable original color and the markings are sharp, edges are crisp and the bore is bright. The derringer is accompanied by an original to the period doe skin purse type holster which shows the impression of this Colt. Est.: $900-$1,800.
