Colt No. 3 Derringer 41 caliber rim fire, blue and nickel finish, varnished wood grips, serial #42107. The derringer remains in near fine to near excellent original condition showing 90-95% original blue onbarrel, some slight drifting on the edges and muzzle and minor just beginning pinprick aging just starting. The frame shows 95-98% plus original satin colored nickel that is unpolished. The grips show 90% varnish withslight edge wear, the markings are sharp the edges are crisp, the hammer shows 90% case hardening just starting to dull. The small parts and screws show most fire blue. The barrel shows small British proofs. There isa tiny mark from closing incorrectly. The bore is mostly bright with a couple of small erosion spots. A 9 plus on 1 -10 scale. Est.; $1,400-$2,800.
