Colt Newline .30 caliber, nickel finish, rosewood grips, serial #8616. The Newline remains in fine to excellent condition with 95-98% original nickel, just a couple of minor areas of loss, some minute erosion and pinprick pitting where the finish has lifted. Bright and frosty fully visible etched panel which reads “Colt New 30” and is nearly 100% intact. The hammer shows 95% bright fire blue on back edge. Small part and screws show bright original blue. The grips are near fine with just some slight handling and edge wear. The cylinder pin is very slightly marred in the checkering. Good action, fine interior. A crisp .30 Newline that is a 9.5 on a 1-10 scale. Very hard to improve upon; good enough for an original box. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
