Manufactured in 1876, with long cylinder flutes. Blade and groove sights, with the two line Hartford barrel address on top of the barrel, patent markings under the cylinder pin and the etched oval "COLT NEW 22" on the left side. The serial number is marked on the butt, with the partial number "2148" on the underside of the barrel and the cylinder is mis-matched, "9482". The frame is marked "22 CAL" on the left side. Nickel finish with niter blue small parts and fitted with smooth rosewood grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original nickel finish with wear limited to the edge of two cylinder flutes. Overall there are a few minor dings and light scratches. Most of the original bright niter blue finish remains on the small parts. The grips are also very fine with much of the original varnish remaining and showing a few minor chips in the varnish, some very minor high edge wear and light handling marks. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
