Colt New Line .22 caliber 7-shot revolver, period scroll engraved, nickel plated, backstrap engraved “Baby” in script, serial #49080. The revolver remains in original very good plus condition with 80-90% originalnickel. Loss of nickel mostly on cylinder. Areas where nickel is lost has gone to a dark patina with pitting and erosion in those areas. The etched panel is frosty and fully visible. The pearl grips are very good plusand thick with iridescent pearl hues. The names “Baby”, “Little Pet”, “Lady Colt” were commonly associated with Kitteridge of Cincinnati who used the names for marketing purposes. The small parts retain most oftheir original finish. The pistol is cocking and needs action and repair. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
