Colt Model IV Series 70 Government Model Pistol in Scarce 9x23mm Steyr Caliber
Produced in the 1970s, arms chambered and marked for the 9x23mm Steyr cartridge were intended for European export, resulting in very few coming onto the American market. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked "COLT MK IV/ SERIES 70/ GOVERNMENT MODEL/ 9 MM STEYR AUTO CALIBER" next to the Rampant Colt. The bottom of the magazine is marked "9MM/ STEYR". Serrated short trigger, long grip safety, thin hammer and checkered grips with gold Colt medallions.

Condition: Excellent, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing light handling marks overall. Grips are excellent plus, with only slight handling marks. Slide catch needs minor adjustment, otherwise mechanically excellent.
