Colt Model 1911 A1 Government Model Commercial Series, serial #C145493, factory roll die marked on right side of slide "EJERCITO MEXICANO". The pistol remains in good original condition, showing 40-60% oforiginal blue toning to a brownish patina, with slight wear at high points and edges; good grips, good overall, with Colt marked pre-war commercial clip, good bore. The Mexican government purchased a small numberof 1911 A1s directly from Colt and had them marked in this manner. They are seldom encountered and this is an above average example, and an early transition model from 1911 to 1911 A1. Est.: $2,500-$5,000

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
