Colt Model 1877 DA revolver, .38 cal., 4-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered hard rubber grips, #164116 (all matching), with tooled leather holster. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 65% original blue on the barrel assembly, cylinder and strap with some scattered spots of erosion and light cleaning and approx. 70% original case colors on the frame; fine bore, sharp markings, fine grips and crisp action at time of description; holster is overall good with added belt loop section for holster to hang lower off belt; accompanied by factory letter confirming all features (grips “Not Listed”) and indicating shipment to Birmingham Arms & Cycle Co., Birmingham, Alabama on July 13, 1907 with no record of number of guns in shipment.
