Colt Model 1872 .22 caliber seven shot open top revolver in very good plus to near fine original condition, serial number 10488. The barrel shows 90% to 95% original blue which is thinning slightly at the edges with someminor marks and just beginning normal age. The cylinder shows 75% to 85% original blue with some slight losses at the edges and a minor index line. The frame is crisp with traces of silver and a good sharp .22 caliber marking. The grips show 80% to 90% original varnish with slight edge wear only. The markings are sharp and the action crisp. The bore is near excellent. A strong 8 on 1 to 10 scale. Est.: $400-$800
