Colt Model 1872 .22 caliber, 7 shot open top-revolver in very good original condition, serial number 38714. The barrel shows 50% to 70% original blue that is evenly drifting and toning with some minor scattered lighterosion and normal aging just starting. The cylinder has drifted to gray with some slight erosion. The frame is a nice dark honey color and un-cleaned. The grips are very good plus with some edge wear and 75% to 85%original varnish. The action is working well and the barrel address is sharp. The hammer and trigger show considerable bright fire blue finish. Matching serial numbers. Est.: $350-$700
