Colt Model 1871-72 Open Top revolver, .44 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, nickel finish, checkered ivory grips, #5152. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing approx. 30% original nickel finish with balance goneto a grey patina; good action and bore, beautiful old checkered ivory grips showing great character and wear; all matching numbers on barrel assembly, trigger guard and backstrap; cylinder number has beenre-stamped. This gun is highly prized by collectors as it was the direct predecessor of the Single Action Army with only approx. 7,000 made between 1872 and 1873 and with most seeing hard use; desirable in anycondition and this one has beautiful ivory grips; from an old collection. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
