Colt Model 1862 Police, .36 cal. percussion, New York scroll engraved, silver and gold plated with "Tiffany" grips showing Mexican snake and eagle, serial #2426. This pistol was recently discovered in France and thegrips are absolutely genuine to the 19th century, and not 20th century copies. The metal surfaces show 30-60% original silver and gold with a heavy unpolished and natural patina, showing some erosion and normal metal aging and absolutely no cleaning. The grips are beautiful and crisp showing the quality that the 20th century copies just can't match. The markings are good, action not quite working, matching visible serialnumbers. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
