Colt Model 1861 Navy percussion revolver, .36 cal., 7-1/2” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, brass straps, #15360 in overall very good condition showing a plum brown patina on barrel and cylinder, no visible cylinder scene remaining, traces of original case colors on frame and loading lever in protected areas; crisp action and barrel address, very good grips, dark bore; a popular large frame percussion Colt with collectors and not easily found given lessthan 39,000 were produced compared to over 200,000 of the Model 1860 Army revolver and over 215,000 of the Model 1851 Navy revolver.
