Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, .36 cal., barrel reduced to 3-1/2” with rammer removed, blue finish, wood grips, butt strap stamped “W.F. & CO.”, #204257. This interesting gun is in overall good conditionshowing the back end of the gun numbered as indicated and the cut down barrel and wedge numbered 204241; silver front sight, traces of blue on the barrel assembly and muted case colors on the frame; scattered old light tomoderate areas of pitting with considerable original cylinder scene remaining; good action, good bore; grips overall good with some old mars and scratches from carry and storage; consignor indicates this gun camefrom the O.C.
