Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, .36 cal., 7-1/2” octagon barrel, old re-blued finish, brass straps with butt strap period inscribed “W. M. Bryan”, wood grips, #147692; accompanied by a stock leather tooled single loop holster. This gun is in overall good condition showing the majority of its old re-blued finish, matching serial numbers except the cylinder that is #8738; wedge screw missing; fair action, overall goodbore, good markings, brass straps have an old coating of varnish, wood grips are overall good with four notches carved into the butt of the left grip; holster is in overall good condition with re-stitched thick leatherthong and separation of one side of the single loop. This gun is accompanied by a typed 3”x5” card that relates the following: “Colt 1851 Navy Calib. 36 6 Shot Percussion Blued finish, Back strap and trigger guardgold plated (sic) W.M. Bryan engraved on Butt 7-1/2” Barrel overall 13-1/4” Serial #147692. Smooth Walnut Grips; 4 notches in left grip. Wedge screw missing. All matching serial numbers, Christmas present 1965
