Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, .36 cal., 7-1/2” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, brass straps, #141563. This gun is in overall very good condition showing all matching visible serial numbers, traces of original blue and case colors in protected areas with balance gone to a pleasing patina; considerable original cylinder scene remaining, crisp action but cylinder does not rotate when action iscocked, good bore and markings, nice patina to brass straps with a period inscription of “I.F.” on the top of the backstrap with nicely accomplished period engraved lyre beneath the initials; very good wood grips. A very nice ’51 Navy from an old collection. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
