Colt Model 1849 percussion Pocket revolver, .31 cal., 5” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #250024 in overall very good + to near fine condition showing approx. 35% muted original blue on the barrel, approx. 60% muted original case colors on the frame, majority of the original cylinder scene present, crisp action and markings, near fine bore, majority of un-cleaned original silver plating on trigger guard and backstrap, some original niter blue still visible on frame screw heads; overall fine grips with majority of original varnish remaining. This really crisp Pocket Model is contained in a Modern (circa 1960’s) Pelson’s leather covered casing with antique brass spread eagle powder flask, Goldmark’s percussion cap tin and modern Italian-marked iron combination wrench.
