BBL: 7 1/2 inch octagon
Stock:
Gauge: 36 cal
Finish: blue/casehardened
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 28898
Condition: Very good as assembled, showing a crisp, bright metal with the balance a gray patina. Grip is very fine with most of the varnish and a few dings. Markings are all crisp. Mechanically excellent. This is an attractive example of a highly desirable Lower Canada Colt Model 1851 that only lacks finish as it appears unused otherwise!
