Colt Lightning double action frontier era revolver in .38 caliber showing factory 4 ½” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, serial number 104458 made 1896. The lightning remains in very good used condition showing 30% to 50% original blue and case hardening toning to a natural patina with some light to moderate erosion and just normal aging. The small parts, springs and screws show some bright original blue finish. The grips show slight edge wear but are at least very good. The markings are sharp, the action works well and the bore is still very bright. A strong 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. Est.: $600-$1200
