Colt House Model Cloverleaf Revolver
Manufactured in 1871, the first year of production, and correctly fitted with the distinctive 4-round cylinder. (The cloverleaf has the distinction of being the first cartridge Colt). Blade front sight integral with the barrel, which is marked "COLT'S HOUSE PISTOL / HARTFORD CT U.S.A." flanked by Maltese crosses and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel and on the butt. The ejector rod is mounted in the cylinder pin and extends through a lug on the bottom of the barrel almost to the muzzle. All nickel finish and fitted with smooth walnut grips

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 80% of the original finish with some flaking on the barrel and cylinder with some minor pitting on the cylinder as well. There are a few minor dents on the butt and overall minor dings and scratches. The grips are fine with a few minor dents on the bottoms and a few minor dings and scratches overall. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
