Colt Gold Cup National Match .45 ACP cal., with .22 cal. conversion unit equipped with adjustable sights, mirro-bright high polished blue finish, checkered ivory grips with silver rampant Colt medallions, factory Bengraved, shipped to North Texas Wholesale, November 19, 1984, one gun in shipment with all features verified by factory letter and under remarks the letter indicates the firearm was shipped with a Colt presentationcase with brass plate on lid, factory inscribed "David K. Tate", processed on custom shop order 2442. The pistol remains in fine to excellent condition, 99.9% original finish, some slight evidence ofminor operation and firing, case is also excellent with just a couple of miniscule storage marks. A very rare Colt Gold Cup being factory engraved and equipped with deluxe grips and matching conversion unit.Only one other known to collectors which was made for Harrison Carroll of California.
