Colt Bisley model single action revolver in .38-40 caliber with 4 ¾” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, shipped to the George Tritch Hardware Company, Denver Colorado, June 15, 1901 with 3 guns in shipment, serial number 210035. All features confirmed by factory letter except grips not listed. A letter of documentation accompanies this single action describing it by caliber and serial number signed by Roy Rogers Jr. stating it was part of The Old West Collection owned by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans which was proudly displayed in their Museum until is closing in December 2009. This Bisley retains approximately 50% plus of its original blue and case hardened finish with just some even loss and minor erosion just starting. There is some very bright blue and case hardening where protected. The front sight has been thinned down radically for more accurate shooting. The action is tight and the bore is bright and at least very good. All matching visible serial numbers and correct Bisley marking on the barrel. Gale Kennedy historical West collection.
