Colt Bisley model single-action revolver, .44-40 caliber, 4-3/4” barrel, strong traces of blue and case hardening drifting to a dark brown patina, hardrubber grips, serial #313361. The left side of the barrel showsBisley Model and Colt Frontier Six Shooter .44-40 marking. There is strong traces of blue on the barrel and cylinder. Frame has drifted to a dark patina matching to the action and straps. There is some scatteredlight to moderate scattered pitting and erosion. Markings sharp, edges good, front sight slimmed slightly. The grips have been worn almost smooth from carry and use. Action is tight, bore fair to good, all matchingvisible serial numbers.
