Manufactured in 1903 and totally refurbished by Doug Turnbull in 2003. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address, the left side is marked "(BISLEY MODEL) 41 COLT" and the left side of the frame is marked with the two-line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The Colt triangle "VP" proof is marked on the upper left front of the trigger guard. Casehardened frame and hammer, niter blue trigger, cylinder pin, cylinder release and screw heads, and blue remaining parts. Fitted with smooth two-piece, nicely grained ivory grips. The accompanying factory letter verifies serial number 244967 as 41/c caliber, 4 3/4 inch barrel, blue finish, with grips "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 of 10 to A. Baldwin & Company, New Orleans, Louisiana on August 3, 1903. Comes with the Doug Turnbull quote services rendered.
