'First Generation' Vintage single action six-shot revolver chambered in .41 Colt, manufactured circa 1904. Introduced in 1894, the Colt Bisley was marketed as a target revolver and was named after the Bisley shooting range in England. Features a nickel plated refinish, 4 3/4" barrel with two line address, blade front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, ejector rod, smooth wide trigger, knurled wide low-profile hammer spur, fluted cylinder, and two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt decor. Serial numbers match on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. The left side of the barrel reads "(BISLEY MODEL) 41 COLT." Revolver exhibits nearly all of it's nickel plated refinish showing some handling marks/scratches and a small amount of pitting under the plating. Action is strong with four clicks & very good lock-up, the bore is bright but with scattered pitting, the markings are very good and the hard rubber grips are good as worn semi-smooth. Condition is NRA Good as refinished. ***C&R Firearm***
