Colt 3rd model (Thuer) derringer, .41 rimfire caliber, traces of original nickel finish, serial #14984. The derringer shows 20-40% original nickel that is drifting and areas where the nickel has lifted on the barrelshow some light to heavy pitting and erosion. The heavy pitting in small areas on left bottom near the lug. The barrel address is good. The frame is good. Frame caliber marking good. There are a few nicks at thebreech end of the barrel from improper closing (with the hammer down). The bore is rough, the action is good, the grips are lightly refinished. Est: $250 - $500
