Colt .38 rimfire with 3 ½” barrel showing 1871-72 patent dates and serial numbered in its own range (2834) for sale as a cartridge arm using some left over percussion parts. There are traces of blue and case hardening within a brown patina alongwith some minor pitting and storage, nicks, dings, and mars mostly on the cylinder. The grips are under sized and replacements from another Colt or sanded. The markings are good and all matching. (Antique) Est.: $350-$700
