The Dragoon shows a brown patina finish with light toheavy scattered erosion and pitting, the heaviest pitting occurs on the cylinder top and right side of barrel. The barrel address is visible, the frame markings completely visible, all matching serial numbers except rammer which is 346 and iscorrectly inspected with a "B" as are most of the major parts and was a period war arsenal change in the same shipment. The grips show 7 notches on left side, 4 notches on right side, possibly for battles or kills. There are 2 large chips missingfrom each toe, the action is good, the bore is surprisingly very good and still shiny and the wedge matches, the pitting on this revolver was the type associated with blood and a good specimen of a 2nd model Dragoon which saw action.
