Colt 1911 U.S. property marked Arsenal rebuilt and parkerized for World War II, serial number 456341. The right side of the frame shows Rock Island Arsenal markings. The grips have been changed to World War II type and a World War II era clip is included. The Colt shows 80% to 90% thinning Arsenal parkerized finish with some losses at the high points and edges from carry and use. The grips are very good plus. The barrel is a World War II type showing considerable blue on ejection port area. The action is tight and the bore is fine to near excellent. A veteran of 2 wars or more. Est.: $900-$1800
