Colt 1862 police model revolver, .36 caliber percussion, 4-1/2” barrel, patina finish with traces of blue, wood grips, serial #38333. The revolver remains in good original condition showing a smooth brown patina with strong traced of blue mixed in. Some scattered light erosion, pinprick pitting, some mars, dings, scratches – particularly around the wedge area and back of cylinder. Generally good metal with good markings. The loading lever screw which holds the plunger is an old replacement. One or two other screws also are replaced. The grips are fair to good and show notches and marks at the bottom and a couple of chips and one small hole from mounting. All matching visible serial numbers. Est: $600 - 1200
