cylinder #3560. This 1860 Army was sold in 2003 by Little Johns with a Remington 58 inscribed “Col. G.P. Robinson” on the trigger guard. Both pieces had been in a Brooklyn New York Historical Society inventory and were being sold by Martin Lane Antiques of New York to raise funds for this organization. A 2006 dated letter to this effect is included recanting all we know and signed by John R. Gangel. This Colt is hand stamped “General, Morgan, Captured, in KY” on four lines. Matching except cylinder which appears to be in the same condition. The overall condition is good to very good with some scene and good grips. A period holster is included. John Hunt Morgan of course was one of the most active Confederate General whose raids and engagements were legend in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. (Antique) Est.: $2500-$5000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
