Colt 1860 Army revolver, .44 caliber percussion, brown patina finish, wood grips, inlaid with silver stars, and U.S. silver coin dated 1860 on right side. The revolver shows a dark brown Patina finish with fainttraces of blue and case hardening mixed in. Good edges, 10-20% original cylinder scene. The grips show an overcoating of varnish, probably when inlays were put in. One silver star is missing and has been out a long time. There are copper nails used as decoration on the butt. The grips show some small losses. One large chip at the right toe. Normal carry and wear. All matching visible serial numbers. Good overall, with early double-loop holster in fair condition showing repairs and an “M and B” stamp. The holster is for a longer barrel gun, but this 1860 has been carried a long time and shows a brass stud to tighten the end and hold this pistol. Serial #51336. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
