Colt 1860 Army revolver, .44 caliber percussion, 8” barrel, renickel plated, wood grips, serial #105994. The revolver shows an old heavy renickeled finish. Markings have been polished light, edges rounded. Approx.75% of this old nickel remains. Areas where the nickel has lifted show some light pitting and erosion. The grips are good with a trace of cartouche on each side. There are small losses from each toe. The wedge screw ismissing. The action is good. Numbers are light but visible and matching other than cylinder number which is not visible. The Colt is contained within a fancy French style velvet lined oversize case with engravedplaque reading “1860 Colt” in lid and a reproduction flask. Est: $600- $1,200
