Colt 1860 Army 44 caliber percussion revolver fully and finely factory open vine scroll engraved with blue and case hardened finish, burl wood grips, serial #151699. The barrel retains 85-95% bright original blue with just some minor drifting and beginning age. The cylinder shows 60-80% thinning blue that is still very bright on the back ring and fading on the front of cylinder. About 75% light original scene remains with clear patentdates. The frame retains 85-95% case hardening and hammer shows 50-70% case hardening both slightly dulling and going to a natural patina with good rainbow colors. The trigger guard shows traces of silver andthe back strap shows about 10% bright blue mostly on the top behind the hammer. The edges are crisp and the markings are sharp. The ram rod shows 75-85% bright original case hardening. The bottom of the barrel beneath ram rod shows inky and bright color blue. The Colt is fitted with deluxe burl walnut grips that are in fine condition and fit impeccably and show just a few scratches and light marks. All matching visible serial
