Colt 1851 Navy revolver, .36 caliber percussion, small triggerguard series, patina finish, wood grips, serial #43654. The revolver shows a dark brown patina finish with traces of finish mixed in, somescattered light to moderate pitting and erosion, good sharp barrel address, some nicks around wedge port area and some considerable nicks on the edge of the wedge. The cylinder shows 30-50% cylinder scenewithin a matching patina to barrel and frame. The frame, hammer, and loading lever show traces of smoky case colors within their patina. The grips are good with small losses at the toes, with a larger chip from theright toe that is not major. The initials “HB” were stamped on the top of the backstrap and bottom of grips. The pistol shows small sub-inspection marks on the triggerguard and backstrap. All matching visible serialnumbers, tight action, good bore, some good visible blue beneath the loading lever.
