Colt 1851 Navy revolver, .36 caliber percussion, 7-1/2” barrel, grey patina finish, wood grips, serial #143769, made during the Civil War. The revolver shows a light grey to brown patina finish, goodbarrel address, some wear at left front of muzzle from being carried in a holster. The pistol is fitted with a period hand-made blade sight which is well worn also. The metal surfaces have been lightly cleaned, the barrel address is sharp, the cylinder shows 20-30% light cylinder scene. The Colt patent marking is good on left side of frame. The grips are good with even wear, normal aging, all matching visible serial numbers. Goodaction, good overall. From an old Texas collection. Est: $1,100 - $2,200
