Colt 1851 Navy revolver, .36 cal. percussion, British proofed, with Enfield Arsenal cartouche on left side of grips, New York address, brass backstrap and trigger guard, serial #187737, with L marking indicatingshipped to London. The barrel and cylinder show light to slightly heavy scattered pitting and erosion, the barrel address is light but visible, the heavier pitting on left side of barrel and a few places oncylinder. The frame shows some pitting on the recoil shields, but otherwise good with good Colt patent marking. The hammer and loading lever show a dark patina and light to moderate scattered pitting; some heavypitting on the front of the lever and top of hammer. The grips are good with mostly visible circular cartouche at bottom left, some minor dings, mars, scratches, small losses at the toes. All matching visibleserial numbers, good action, good interior. The aging is the type associated with moisture and being carried in a holster. A significant variation of the 1851 Navy that is scarce. Est.: $1,500-$3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
