Colt 1849 pocket model .31 caliber percussion with 4” barrel, one line New York address, 6 shot cylinder, serial number 304967. The revolver remains in original good condition with traces of blue and case hardening within a gray to brown patina finish. The cylinder shows 3 large X’s over the serial number with the last 3 digits of the serial number 967 stamped with a modern stamp. The barrel has been reduced slightly and reset upon the pins. The metal surfaces show some cleaning and light browning. The cylinders show 30% to 50% cylinder scene. The grips have been lightly refinished. The action is working but not locking.
