Colt 1849 pocket model, .31 caliber percussion, 4” barrel, traces of blue and case hardened, varnish wood grips, two-line Hartford address, five-shot serial #184802. The revolver remains in original good to very good condition with a grayish patina finish, some faint traces of blue and case hardened where protected. There is some scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting. The cylinder shows 30-50% scene. The markings are good and sharp. The wedge screw is missing. The grips show 60-80% varnish with some wear at the edges and some tapping marks on the bottom of the grips and strap. The backstrap and triggerguard show 30-50%darkened original silver plate. All matching visible serial numbers. Est: $550 - $1,100
