A) Manufactured between January 1944 and August 1944. The front sight is stamped with an "R", the barrel is stamped "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/4-44", 1st type barrel band, "UI" stamped sling swivel, 4 rivet handguard, angled face slide, flat bolt, 1st type rear sight stamped with "S~", unmarked recoil plate, modified magazine catch stamped "E.I.", push button safety and a smooth walnut low wood stock stamped "IO" in the stock cutout and with an ordnance wheel cartouche on the right side.

Arsenal refurbished, then restored to WWII specification, the front sight retains 85% of a mixed light and dark green parkerization. The barrel retains 95% of the original blue finish with some wear on the underside and some scattered scratches. The remaining metal parts retain 98% olive green parkerizing with some high edge wear and some scattered scratches. The reoiled stock is very good with some dings, scratches and spots of discoloration. Mechanically fine.

B) Manufactured between November of 1942 and July of 1943. Front sight is stamped with a "U", barrel is stamped "UNDERWOOD/7-43/{flaming bomb}", has a type 1 barrel band with 2 weld scars, 2 rivet handguard, straight face slide stamped with a {flaming bomb}, type 1 rear sight stamped "S" on left side, unmodified magazine catch stamped "AU", has a push button safety and a smooth walnut high wood pot belly stock stamped "P-U" in sling cutout and with a boxed "G.H.D./U.E.F." and ordnance wheel cartouche. With a green web sling.

Fine as professionally restored, the barrel retains 98% of the blue finish with some scratches and minor wear. The dark green/gray parkerized receiver retains 99% finish with some dings under the finish and a faint flaming bomb stamped at the rear. The slide and trigger guard assembly retain 97% of the olive green parkerized finish with some high edge wear and some dings under the finish. The stock is very good with a restamped cartouche. Mechanically fine.
