A) Manufactured in 1948, with a bead front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel has the fourth style marking along with a restamped "W/P" proofmark at the breech end of the barrel. The top of the receiver has a restamped "W/P" proofmark, the serial number on the bottom of the receiver is restamped, the top tang is blank and the bottom tang has the original serial number. Fitted with a round walnut forearm with 17 grooves and a straight grip stock with a checkered plastic buttplate.

Condition: Very good, 85% of the original blue finish remains with areas of touch up blue on the breech end of the barrel and magazine tube along with the action bar. There is an area of wear and a series of dings next to the front sight and some scattered minor spotting. The wood is excellent with the buttstock revarnished and some scattered minor scratches and dings overall.
- B) Manufactured in 1955 with a bead front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight . The top of the receiver and barrel have two holes tapped for scope/sight mounting with filler screws. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Condition: Very good, 95% original blue finish with some high edge wear, a few dings on the underside of the barrel, a couple scratches on the top of the receiver along with the two drilled holes and some spotting around the holes. The rear sight is a replacement. The wood is also very good with the buttstock refinished with some tool/vise marks on the left side of the pistol grip and some scattered minor marks. Mechanically fine.
