A) Barrel has the standard Colt markings with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" with "P" and "R.A.C" on the underside. The frame is marked with the Rampant Colt and long "C" on the left, with "R.A.C." and "GWS" inspector marks on the right. "R.A.C." on rear cylinder face, with "K" on the cylinder latch. Smooth grips with lanyard ring and U.S. Army marking on the butt.

Serial Number: 44755
Condition: Fine as partially refinished, with some cold blue on the front and rear grip strap. The revolver retains 70% original blue finish on the balance. The reoiled grips are fine with some minor handling marks (mostly on the bottoms). Mechanically excellent.
- B) Manufactured during WWII. Standard Colt barrel markings (address/patent date marking double stamped) with an ordnance bomb on the left side of frame. Fitted with checkered Colt medallion grips.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus parkerized finish with a noticeable cylinder drag line. The commercial replacement grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
