A) This is the 6th Type of the Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 revolver. The top flat of the solid rib is marked with the address. Single line patent dates on the cylinder and fitted with smooth rosewood grips.

Condition: Fine, traces of the original blue finish remain in the protected areas with a smooth gray/brown patina on the balance. There is some scattered minor pitting on the cylinder with the patent dates illegible. 60% of the original silver finish remains on the frame with scattered minor scratches with an aged patina on the exposed brass. The grips are both fine with scattered minor scratches and dings with one small gouge on the right grip. Mechanically sound.
- B) This is the 6th Type Smith & Wesson No. 1 revolver with the address on the top flat of the solid rib and patent dates on the cylinder. Fitted with a pair of smooth rosewood grips.

Condition: Fair, the blue components have a brown patina with some scattered minor pitting. The brass frame has a dark aged patina with some scattered dings. The grips are fine with some scattered minor dings and light scratches.
