The left side of the frame is marked with the Finnish Armed Civil Guard "SK.Y" marking followed by the property number "0184". Reportedly these SK.Y marked Berettas bear property numbers ranging from 100 to 597 and were issued between May 1943 and April 1944. The left grip tang is stamped with 1943 dated Italian proofs. The left side of the slide has the legend: "P. BERETTA-CAL. 9 COROTO Mo 1934-BREVET. / GARDONE V.T. 1942 XX". The left side of the trigger guard has a boxed "SA", indicating that this Finnish Civil Guard pistol was transferred to the Finnish Army. Matching serial number on slide and frame. Standard metal backed plastic grips with "BP" emblem.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 80% original blue finish with some mild edge wear and some fine scratches on the frame. The backstrap has a smooth gray patina, with the front grip strap thinning to a brown patina. The grips are excellent with the exception of a few mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

B) Beretta Model 1934 Blank Slide Air Force Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufactured in 1943 during German occupation of Italy. The slide is without a legend, a common feature for the "G" prefixed serial number range. The right grip tang has the Italian Socialist Republic Air Force "crown/spread wing eagle" marking. Only a small portion of blank slide Model 1934 pistols have the Air Force marking. The left grip tang is stamped with a boxed "UA / 47". Matching serial number on frame and slide, with standard metal backed plastic grips.

Condition: Excellent. The slide retains 97% original blue finish with some mild edge wear. The frame retains 75% purple hued blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the grip straps. There is a series of minor scratches on the right side of the frame extending to the trigger guard and trigger. Mechanically excellent.
