A) Top of barrel is marked "SOLOZABAL Y.C.A ERMUA". Matching numbers on frame, grips, cylinder, folding trigger, barrel, and trigger. Scroll engraved 6-shot cylinder and line pattern engraved octagon barrel section. Fitted with two piece checkered grips and lanyard ring on the butt.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 80% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina and a smooth gray patina on the back strap. There are a couple patches of minor pitting. The grips are very fine with some minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically needs work.

B) Left rear of the barrel flat is marked "LEFAUCHEUX / IN?R BREVETE", followed by a "crown/U" proofmark and the right side is marked with a circled "B". The left side of the frame is marked with the serial number, the right a "crown/PF" proof and the mismatched cylinder number 7503 is marked with a Liege and "crown/U" proof. The cylinder, back strap and frame are decorated with floral scroll engraving. Ejector rod mounted on the right side of the barrel lug, pinched front sight with a bead, hammer notch rear sight, folding trigger and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 40% original blue finish, mainly concentrated in the protected areas of the barrel lug and frame and on the cylinder. The balance of the metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina. The grips have been freshened with a coat of varnish some time ago and remain good with some crazing, scattered minor dents and dings, and crisp checkering. The engraving and markings are clear. The action is excellent.
