A) Manufactured in the mid 1800's, high bead front sight and fixed notch rear sight on the hammer with the two line Lefaucheux patent marking on the left side and the ejector rod on the right. Unfluted cylinder with proof mark over "LF" next to the serial number on bottom right side of frame. Checkered hammer spur and finger rest trigger guard. Grips are smooth walnut with metal buttcap and sling ring.

Condition: Good overall, the frame retains some silver dollar case colors while the balance a smooth gray patina. Grips are good with some scratches and pressure dents mainly on the left grip. The action is crisp.
- B) Fixed sights, marked "CHAMELOT/INON & BTEE/DELVIGNE" on the left barrel flat. Serial number on bottom barrel flat underneath ejector rod mechanism. Engraved pattern on upper breech side of barrel, non-fluted cylinder, receiver, trigger guard and butt cap. Loading lever on the left side and bayonet lug on the right side barrel flat. Grips are two-piece checkered walnut with a lanyard ring on butt cap.

Condition: Fine as period refinished with 40% blue finish remaining with the balance a mixture of smooth brown and gray patina. Grips are good with small areas of wear on the checkering. Action is crisp.
