A) Double action only revolver. The right rear barrel flat is marked "LF 3600" and the right side of the trigger is marked "INVON E. LEFAUCHEUX / BREVETE SGDG (PARIS)'. Floral vine engraving on the rear of the barrel, cylinder, frame and grip strap. Ramped bead front sight, ejector rod on the right side of the frame, folding trigger and fitted with two piece varnished walnut grips.

Finish: blue/casehardened

Condition: Good. The barrel has a smooth mottled gray patina, the cylinder retains much of the period refurbished blue finish and the remaining metal surfaces have a smooth silver gray patina. There is some pitting on the hammer and trigger. The grips show signs of some sanding and have been freshened with a coat of varnish, and remain very good with a few scattered minor dings and dents. The engraving is crisp. The action is fine.

B) The left rear of the barrel is marked "E. LEFAUCHEUX / IN VR BERVETE", "crown/N" on the right side of the barrel lug, Liege proof on the cylinder and the serial number on the left side of the frame. Floral scroll engraving on the upper rear barrel flats, cylinder, frame and grip straps. Blade front and hammer notch rear sights, ejector rod on the right side of the frame, six round unfluted cylinder, folding trigger and fitted with smooth varnished walnut grips.

Condition: Good. The barrel lug retains much of the original blue finish while the round portion has a mottled gray patina. There is some strong original case colors on the bottom of the frame with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The grips are fair with a number of moderate dents and dings overall. The marking and engraving are clear. The action is excellent.
