A) Manufactured in 1910. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block patent marking (1897 and 1903) and address on the left side of the slide, with the circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the right side. The upper left front of the trigger guard bow is marked with the Colt triangle "VP" proof and the number "1" on the lower left rear. Standard low profile fixed sights, blue Colt marked magazine and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with COLT" in a banner at the top and the Rampant Colt at the bottom. Complete with an original colt hinge lid box with correct label affixed to the inside of the lid, papers, cleaning brush and extra Colt marked blue magazine.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish with some thinning on the slide, as well as some wear on the front edge of the slide and the high edges, and a few minor scratches. There is some minor flaking on the grip straps and a few minor dings and scratches. Overall the frame shows some edge wear. With the exception of a 3/4" chip on the upper right panel, the grips are near excellent with crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent. The box is poor with tattered edges, tape repairs and some flaking of the outer paper cover

B) Manufactured in 1910. Blade and notch sights, with the two line address and 1896 to 1910 patent dates on the left side of the slide, and caliber designation on the right side. Trigger guard is stamped with the "VP" proof and "5" on the left side. Blue finish with casehardened trigger, thumb and grip safeties, blue unmarked magazine and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner at the top and the Rampant Colt and stylized "C" at the bottom.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with muzzle end and edge wear on the slide, as well as numerous minor scratches and a few minor dings. The frame shows some edge wear and slight thinning on the front strap. The grip safety has a smooth gray patina with bright original case colors on the protected areas. The thumb safety and trigger retain almost all of the original bright case colors. The grips are excellent showing little wear and crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
