Collector's Lot of Two Beretta Semi-Automatic Pistols A) Beretta Model 1935 Army Semi-Automatic Pist
This is an example of a 1941 dated Beretta Model 1935 pistol with Italian Army markings. The Army markings are usually Italian since the Army adopted the 9 mm Corto round in 1935. It was the Air Force that adopted the 7.65 mm round. The left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA-CAL. 7.65-BREVETTATA / GARDONE V.T. 1941 XX". The left grip tang has the Italian Army crown/RE marking, with "IVU" on the reverse. Matching serial number on slide and frame. Standard factory metal backed plastic grips.
BBL: 3 3/8 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 7.65 mm auto
Finish: blue
Grips: plastic
Serial Number: 480624
Condition: Excellent. The slide retains 95% original purple hued blue finish with some minor edge wear with limited pin point pitting. The frame retains 95% blue finish with a faint plum patina. The grip straps are thinning to a brown patina. The grips are excellent with the exception of a few mild handling marks. When magazine is out and the slide is pulled back, the barrel moves freely.

B) Beretta Model 1935 Blank Slide Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufactured circa 1945 during German occupation of Italy. The slide legend is absent, with the serial number over "CAL. 7.65" marked on the right side of the frame and a "4 / UT" acceptance stamp on the left grip tang. Standard Beretta metal backed plastic grips.
BBL: 3 3/8 inch round
