The left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA-CAL. 9 CORTO-Mo 1934 BREVET. / GARDONE V.T. 1942 XX", all highlighted in white. The left grip tang has the Italian Army crown over RE marking and "IVU" marked on the reverse. The left side of the trigger guard is stamped with a boxed "CA". Matching serial number on frame and slide. Fitted with standard metal backed black plastic grips with "PB" emblem.

Condition: Very fine. The slide retains 95% original blue finish with the remaining finish thinned to a reddish hue. The frame retains 97% original blue finish with a faint plum patina and some minor thinning on the grip straps. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

B) Early Production Beretta Model 1935 Air Force Semi-Automatic Pistol
Highlighted in white, "P. BERETTA-CAL. 7.65-Mo 1935-BREVETTATO / GARDONE V.T.-1935-XIV" is marked on the left side of the slide. The left grip tang has the crown/spread eagle Italian Air Force marking. Matching serial number on slide and frame. Fitted with metal backed black plastic grips with "PB" emblem.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 80% original high polished blue finish with some minor edge wear, some minor spotting and a smooth brown-gray pitting on the grip straps. There is some minor pitting mostly on the slide and backstrap. The left panel has some minor gouges on the bottom, otherwise the grips are very fine with some minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
